Scarborough Centre for Healthy Communities (SCHC) Wine & Wellness Spring Fundraiser
Organized the SCHC Wine & Wellness Spring Fundraiser held on April 25, 2024, at The Guild Inn Estate in Scarborough, Ontario. This community-centered event gathered 58 attendees, with 43 paid attendees and a mix of staff and volunteers.
SMCC - Sponsorship Marketing Awards (SMAs) 2024
Organized SMCC’s annual Sponsorship Marketing Awards (SMAs) in Toronto, a hybrid in-person and virtual event. This prestigious gathering attracted over 200 industry professionals, foundational sponsors, and company representatives.
International Association for Professional Security Consultants (IAPSC) 2024 Annual Conference
Led comprehensive planning and execution for the 2024 IAPSC Annual Conference, held at the Jacksonville Hyatt Regency, Florida, from May 14-16, 2024. This included 96 participants (delegates, sponsors, speakers, and staff) with 19 sponsors and 13 exhibitors supporting the event.
SMCC - Monthly Breakfast Forums Series
Organized and facilitated monthly breakfast forums for the Sponsorship Marketing Council of Canada (SMCC), hosted at Real Sports in Toronto. Each forum attracted Canadian sponsorship marketing professionals, with monthly topics ranging from "Black Focused Partnerships & Properties in Canada’s Sponsorship Industry" to "Harnessing the Power of AI." This ongoing series serves as a membership value-add, spotlighting timely industry themes.
Canadian Association of College & University Student Services (CACUSS) Annual Conference 2024
Coordinated the CACUSS 2024 Annual Conference, a virtual event hosted on PheedLoop from June 4-6, 2024. The conference featured 1,867 attendees, with 250 speakers presenting 137 sessions, and included 4 sponsors and 4 exhibitors.
Real Property Institute of Canada - Forum on the Workplace
Planned and executed two signature events for real property professionals: Workplace Wednesday, a quarterly virtual series designed to provide actionable insights and foster community engagement, and the Forum on the Workplace (FOTW), a hybrid one-day event combining in-person and virtual participation. Both events served as platforms for thought leadership, collaboration, and innovation within the workplace solutions sector.
Real Property Institute of Canada - Greening & Sustainability Workshop
Planned and executed the 2024 RPIC Greening & Sustainability Workshop, a hybrid event which brought together real property professionals from the public and private sectors to explore sustainability and greening initiatives. With a dynamic agenda and a mix of in-person and virtual attendees, the event showcased thought leadership, industry innovation, and practical solutions. Key features included plenary sessions, interactive labs, hands-on training, and a robust exhibit hall.
Renewal of Vows
This socially distanced ceremony highlighted the beauty in simplicity and the love of decades past. Re-tying together two stories, lives, and experiences in the heart of a hamlet.
A Trip Around Europe (in Ontario)
Similar to many, the Covid-19 pandemic had put a hindrance on people's travel plans. But, not for us and my mother's 60th birthday as we travelled around Southwestern Ontario to the various 'European' destinations, and with no time difference or jet lag.
